The Cryo Hauler Thread

I'm considering taking a job with Linde Gas & Equipment Inc., apparently picking up / delivering cylinders and "hard goods."

Is this a job where I can eventually transfer to bulk or microbulk, or is this one of those jobs where they don't let people transfer out because they have a hard time filling the position?

 

Most of the cylinder places I’ve seen are not in the same terminal as the bulk drivers so might not be able to transfer over.

I am at Air Products and we no longer do cylinders in the USA.

 

You can transfer I guess .
We have a couple guys that came over to bulk. Just have to wait for an opening.
Helps if you've talked to the managers involved I'd guess.

 

Yeah, you can transfer. I've talked to some Call and Demand guys that have worked just about everything driving position that Linde has. One even worked the counter in a sales position. BUT He drove before he got that position.

 

Never get tired of opening up the vent full blast and seeing the vapor cloud. Especially on those mornings when the weather is just right.

 

Anyone know this outfit?
