It also isn't so much the cpm that matters, it's the amount of freight a company is capable of hauling, and freight lanes. Most companies are paying within the market window so it's competitive.

If you’re seeing 60 cents on a W2 in your area there’s no way I’d consider 68 cents on a 1099. Needs to be substantially higher than W2 pay to make up for the extra tax burden, no work comp, no health insurance, and no recourse other than taking them to court if they decide to not pay you.Rideandrepair, Bean Jr., TurkeyCreekJackJohnson and 3 others Thank this.
