oh fear not,,,not being run off,,called that morning and got changed to calebs board,,am willing to pass it all off as just rubbing each other the wrong way,,just pissin and moanin a little,,,but still all in all a good place to be,,,money is there and most people are pretty decent,,as for the punitive,,,well retaliatory 12/1500 mile weeks speak for themselves now,,dont they.it cant all be perfect,,but had hoped so anyway,,,i have worked with/around a heck ofa lot worse!

I see you guys looking for others around you on here and on Facebook all the time. If you have smart phones, you should try the Loopt application. It will show you who is around you and can update Facebook automatically. You can use it on your PC too.

 

hello everyone, i noticed no one was asking about me but I'll give you an update just the same.

everything is going great for me, I'm making it home every night so far, and making good money.

hauling a 16 X 80 foot house is a whole new treat in its self, I'm amazed by the number of people that will pay no attention to a big truck, but a HOUSE?????
I even had some one on I30 take the median and pass me!!! yes, I was the lead house and had to take both lanes to keep from hitting a broke down 4 wheeler on the side of the road... and this numb nuts didn't want to wait for me to get back over so they just hit the grass, and hammered down...... unbelievable !! the funny part of that was the the other 2 people in the car had NO reaction on their face at all! it was like it was normal to them.... go figure.

alot of people ask me about the flats..... its not bad, they do happen, but not as often as you might think, last week I only had a total of 2, and 1 this week. but I have an air jack, and impact wrench so it only takes about 5 min to change a flat when they happen.. and yesterday we broke a spring on the house, now that was fun... lol that took about 1 hour to change and we were back on the road.. and i got extra pay for it too so its all good.

if anyone ever has a chance to get into house hauling, i say DO IT.. lol

one other note...
when you come up behind a wide load, let them know your getting ready to pass, and then give all the room you can before coming back over to the slow lane. we have to look as far ahead as we can to avoid anything that might be on the side of the road and when someone comes over to fast, well we can't see whats going on, and the chance of a little room may not be an option.....
