nothing wrong with walking someplace... its nice to get the legs moving as often as you can...

I finshed my joyous delivery to long island. Spent the night at sayreville terminal and head out for my next load to GA. It was surprised to see that they had a different washer and dryer at sayreville, wonder if they work?

 

Haha too funny I managed to get a cab ride went to the Harrisburg mall and just watched kick-##### good entertainment.

 

I knew that PA comment would get ya, S2B...I'm sure it's a great place to live and/or visit, but as for driving one of these beasts thru there, I'd rather not

Agree about the walking, I got in 30 minutes first thing this morning, and another 15 checking out the mall....

As for the pictures....umm I don't want to perpetuate the opinion of the "perv" trucker taking pictures with his cell phone of girls running around...also if I didn't delete them and my wife saw even 1, I'd be in BIG trouble....:smt075

 

hahaha... I am going to side with you warp, PA sucks.. LOL.... What sucks even worse is theres all this cool crap around but no way to get to it, I saw tons of NO trucks signs tonight on the way back..

They treat us right...... besides the - getting stuck sitting on weekends, truck wont run right, and the shop cant fix anything part...

Well, I can re-phrase it to "they TRY to treat us right...and I suppose it's my fault I'm stuck here as I didn't check the time to contact my dispatcher for another load; lesson learned. As for the truck, I am a noob, so I expected to get an older one that may or may not run good...

I try to take it all in, and stay positive, otherwise, I'd be crazy (or crazier) by now already LOL

 

Well my reset will be done tonight! and I am leaving for Jersey # 12AM pst. I dont have to be there till 8AM EST, so that gives me 4 hours to drive 150 miles. Should be enough to get there an hour early. I put a mild request to head west again lol, I doubt its going to happen but I figure im as far east as they are gonna send me. I hope i end up either back south or going west. Today I did all my laundry and just hanging out listening to music.

hey for those of you with laptops (most of us) i have been using HULU to watch tv shows and stuff every so often, but I noticed that the internet connections really are not that great anywhere I go. i have a verizon wireless Internet card I can use but even that just doesnt seem to have the speeds to stream good. Any suggestions? I am using that Interstate access right now over at TA, its ok but still just not quite enough.

 

I've found that the Verizon wireless access is mostly ok, but it is not quite fast in some areas. Ive been watching some programs on HULU since yesterday as well, and here where I'm at the speeds are pretty good. I've just learned patience and let it buffer as much as you can before you start watching, and pause it every few minutes to stretch, or get something to drink.

Glad you were able to get your laundry done, I wanted to use my reset to get mine done as well, but there is no laundry facility here where I'm stuck at...oh well, at least there is a movie theater and I'm going to the movies in a half hour or so....
