What if it Snows?

Where does your salmon come from? Don’t eat too much if it comes from the Great Lakes. Supposedly has a high amount of mercury in it..at least that’s what they were saying years ago.

 

Over many years of buying insurance I have sort of figured it out. All companies have a rate, car, truck, business, home.
You are young, in your first house, good credit, not loaded with debt. You pick the company relatives, the realtor or a friend suggests and go. Regardless of any claims, the premium slips up $30 to $50 per 6 months renewals . After a few years, you are older, have accumulated some debt and with a family coming along, become more conscious of these increases.
You shop around. Progressive can cut you down $200. You change. Time passes. Old Processive inches up and you again take notice.
You shop, and wow, AAA can save you $280 over progressive and offer you a feature or two extra.
This is how I went from I think $235 per 6 mo on my 99 Dodge truck to $508.00 last 6 mo AAA . They will quote you cheap if you are new to them and no serious record of claims in the background check. Then, milk annually till you break and change.

(And I had no claims, paid the 6 mo in full , have a high credit score, very nice bank balance, no cc debt. (Pay balance)

 

It was 99 degrees on my way home from work today. The weather app on my phone swears it'll be 51 in the morning, but I've just about given up hope. Welcome to Hell... Or should I say Texas.

You should have run old 66 thru Amarillo back in the middle 50's. Come in from the west and run into every mode of weather in the book, dry to wet, hot to freezing, whirlwinds to dead calm. Get 8-10 mile on east, be nice as ever. Something about the wire fence up in OK and some fool come thru and left the gate open....
