Absolutely not. My family came to Ohio from Ireland via KY/WV in @OLDSKOOLERnWV area. But it wasn't nice story book tale. They were on the run from the law.

 

Some of mine got hung for horse theive’n in Arkansas

 

Well that's what mine was wanted for coming to Ohio at 14. But still trying to figure out what they did to justify stealing the horses to come to Ohio.

 

I’d just wonder why anyone would want to steal a F’n horse— they eat to much, try to bite your arm off when you feed them and…. Never mind

 

Irish blood in my veins as well from dads side. Sliver of Cherokee from moms side….

@Oxbow we're wrapping up for the season I get a call yesterday- contractor needs 4,000 tons 3-5' boulders for a ITD project....Nov/Dec! Who plans these things?
I said no problem I'll help. No driving, I'm not into slip-n-slide solo dump empty. Nice warm 345 loading trucks I'm in.
