That bad plus some. Everything they have has a krylon overhaul, with a slick one owner low mileage price. Ask them to let you dyno one they tell you their you break it you buy it policy. I’m not opposed to buying junk, but it’s priced as such. It’s represented by the seller as such.

Yeah most of their trucks are priced fairly closely together regardless of make, model, year, or mileage. I saw a video of a guy who bought a truck from them and seemed mostly happy with it aside from some bad wiring he found later on.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

They used to have nothing but bad reviews. Then they suddenly started having lots of five star reviews from customers who had never left a review anywhere else. Last I looked at them they seemed a bit more legit, but one guy said they offered him a better deal if he would leave a five star review before he left the place. I personally wouldn’t buy anything from there.
Rideandrepair and Iamoverit Thank this. -
There’s a LOT of places that do that. Offering deals or incentives for a 5 star review. There’s people who create fake accounts or pay services to leave a ton of reviews. Just another shady business practice to meRideandrepair, OldeSkool and Iamoverit Thank this.

Appell equipment sales in galva ill should be avoided at all costs…just auction junk with a 100 percent markup for the most part. Generally they have older stuff but some late model trucks.

I'm pretty sure the owner is a hoarder. Deep down he can't let anything go. I was looking for an end dump several years ago. Stopped in there, looked over one and asked him to pull it out in the open so I could put it up and check the cylinder.
I had cash in hand and was ready to spend it. He refused to let me really inspect it. At first I thought he was hiding something so I found a second one of interest and he would'nt let me inspect that one either.
It was clear he didn't really want to sell either one.Rideandrepair, OldeSkool and W923 Thank this. -
I think you might be on to something
I go by there occasionally and or see their stuff on truck paper and it doesn’t really seem like much leaves but more keeps coming in. I have walked around the yard once and it looks more like a salvage yard/ outdoor truck museum than a place that sells stuff. Hopefully when he dies/sells out some of that stuff finds a good home….there’s quite a few uncommon classics back there in good enough shape to restore.Rideandrepair, ElmerFudpucker, OldeSkool and 2 others Thank this. -
Is that don baskin truck sales or something like that…I don’t really have any personal experience with them and have very little desire to get anyRideandrepair, ElmerFudpucker, OldeSkool and 1 other person Thank this.
