Pepsi chicago shuts down

Looks like Pepsi is shouting down in Cincinnati too.

Lower earnings in the snack and drink side. Number crunchers say cut jobs to improve the bottom line.

 

Looks like it's a National issue with Pepsi and they're closing multiple state locations. This one in Penn State.

 

3$ for a 2liter didn't have anything to do with low demand.

 

Atlanta is on that list too.
PepsiCo is closing 4 bottling plants and cutting nearly 400 jobs as it streamlines operations
All the price hikes have scared people off!
Maybe those employees can get on with Coca-Cola!
The sudden closure of the Chicago location might put Pepsi in violation of the WARN Act unless they made prior arrangements.

 

I can understand getting out of Illinois for tax reasons .

 

Too bad it's not Coke
