i was hired by werner . quick story short i was hired after going thru the normal run around and pee test and phy. and stuff now i am officially an employee. i am waiting for a truck assignment they leave me hanging after agreement to hire me as professional driver they then called me and said will be few days to get your truck. 2 days later i call and am told that i was disquailified due to past records " which i subitted at and before time of hire" and then they only payed me for driver trainee. i have been driving truck for over 15 years local and just went OTR so would i go back ? not if they doubled my pay. they have to my knoledge to date not paid me and have reported to irs that i was paid 120.00 for orientation which i have no record of recieving . i was promised double that for my time.:joker::cheers::occasion7:

So I am guessing here, but you now work for GTI out of Clackamas OR or Pacific WA right. ( I worked for GTI for a short period last year)

I can't tell you good or bad YET.... But I have been waiting on PAM for almost 4 weeks. I got tired of waiting and picked up the phone, called Werner this morning and they are putting me on a bus TONIGHT. If they are a bad company they seem to work fast as far as I can tell. I will keep you posted on my orientation but they seem to want to get me into their workforce as quickly and as smoothly as posible.

    Again just my 2 cents.

I worked for them for almost 2 yrs. Just watch you paychecks VERY carefully. With me they tended to take out stuff like truck towing charges and stuff like that, but that was back in the late 80's good luck!

I just voted no because of some of what Ive heard but moreso in that Ive seen so many Werner trailers off the road on off-ramps trying to make tight turns and some tractor-trailers wrecked.
