    'Tis the season. :)

I was just commenting to a neighbor yesterday, as I was changing my garage into cold weather/snow mode, that I remember us having an early snow last October, which we did on Halloween 2023. Glad I changed the garage over and got the snowblowers and Calcium Chloride moved to the front. :)

I don't know the gentleman. But caught his sharp ride coming through the northend of town. He had no problem avoiding the low viaduct.

    I recall that.

No I wasn't there. Dad had 2 green 83's Bc's with drivers with single headlights, and a 88 with a 444. I spent many nights sleeping on dog house. Or in bunk or floor sneaking in and out steel mills. Doubling out in the comfort of the darkness.

The 83's were retired Matlack trucks, Matlack Green. Not fancey like the pic.

The 81 I was driving had a 300 Formula / 7 spd, talk about a gutless wonder for the Appalachian region….

If I recall those green goblins were formula 350's. That didn't last long hauling iron. I always found the "formula" name ironic. Nutless low rpm engines.

Yea it was max rpm 1800, with that 7 spd it needed to be in the flat ground area not in these hills lol. Weakest Cummins I ever drove…
