    Says criminal on it..
Sounds like it’s being treated as a hit and run..imo.

If they’re trying to prosecute the op for hit and run that’s quite serious. Definitely don’t want that on your resume :)

I wouldn’t worry about your mvr quite yet. I’d be more concerned about finding the best lawyer I could afford and try keeping myself out of prison. Sounds like you could be looking at a felony hit and run..

A motorcycle is a personal vehicle, and you crashed badly enough to need an ambulance ride. Regardless of what happens with the citation, it's still a crash that resulted in a police report. and you'll have to disclose it.

Get yourself in a accident with some serious pain and wheeled away in an ambulance and see how much info you're capable of giving out.

Well, @snowwy I'm 100% positive that that information was not provided in the OP. So, lighten up.

    Iamoverit and Concorde Thank this.

I absolutely agree. Some details have been left out otherwise the op wouldn’t have been given a criminal citation.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

Granted, I’ve never heard of a scenario like this before, but cops have certainly done more ignorant things.

    1. Were you the rider in control of the motorcycle?
    2. Did you own said motorcycle?
    3. Did you cause any property damage to property other than said motorcycle?
    4. Did a LEO come to the hospital the ambulance took you to and question you?
