Mississippi man dies after a dump truck releases asphalt onto him

Would definitely be fatal…..

and that’s my opinion given 30 +years asphalt experience

So, this guy was working on the tailgate with the box all the way up? I hauled a lot of "schluck", and on a regular dump truck, it was always loaded forward, with almost none against the tailgate. A bottom dump might be a different story, but something doesn't add up.

Knowing my Grandson is right this second , working on a dump truck, with concrete (hopefully safer than hot asphalt) , scares the heck out of me.
He loves it, he comes home concrete head to toe , smiles and says it's great Grandma!
He will be starting college before too long, he is good natured , I think he will love whatever he decides to do.
