I went to orientation and I asked on the first day if I decided not to go to work for them, will there be any negatives or hard feelings? And they said that if I didn't want to drive for them, they didn't want me driving for them and that I was not officially hire 'til I was assigned a truck. So I bought a bus ticket and headed home.

Florilli left a black mark on my DAC report. A negative from a company where I never set foot on their property.

    Nice.

As much as I like Florilli, and still work for them, if you LIVE in CA, i would not suggest working here. Yes we go to Cali, but that is no gaurantee you can get home on a regular basis. The Magority of our freight(recently anyway) is from Ia, WI, Chicago area to PA and NJ.

they fired me right after i got my one year in back in the end of October :biggrin_2557: over an overweight ticket that i had to find out myself..they told me they fired me because they said i got a ticket back in march at a truck stop in pa cuz i was "accused of backing into another drivers truck) when i didn't... but that's what the one driver told me...he even told the local cop that he "thought" i hit him. An the officer asked him if he had "seen me hit him" an he said no i thought he hit me... the officer then asked me for my drivers license log book an registration he looked at it 5 mins later he handed it back an said your good to go...a week an a half later florilli asks me about the ticket that i got in pa i said what ticket?? i didnt recieve any ticket. i told florilli to send me the "ticket" that i supposedly had gotten so i could pay it they said ok..then the next day they told me that they wanted there money for the ticket an that they were just gonna go ahead an pay it. then at the end of October they told me that because of the ticket i had gotten, it had put 6 points on my record an they said there insurance disqualified me to drive there truck an there max of points they allowed was 5 points so they terminated me...it wasn't the company's fault it was there insurance..they said as soon as i get the points either taken off or reduced i was more then welcome to come back as an otr driver...i enjoyed my time with florilli there not a bad company to drive for there are some things that they need to improve as far as equipment, rate of pay getting ez-pass/prepass...etc. my experience driving for florilli was pretty good an if i ever choose to go back to them i would.
