Dabs, the other thread I normally post on went thru the same thing. I firmly believe that things run in cycles and that this one will become upbeat again. Just give it time.
Either that or we can just blame the olde goat for abandoning us.

 

Ok time for some good news. We have been with jct march 22, have had a couple of issues with the truck
(Its old but pretty) we have been treated well from all directions and plan on being here for a long time. Thanks to all. L1787g

 

Hiya, Dabs...I also have noticed a lack of posting on here, and believe it is a cycle thing. It will pick up, and it will slow down. Just like the freight business! Some of the posts on here don't really require (or deserve) a response, so I have just not responded to many of them.

I hope you and Randy are doing well, and I really do hope to meet up with you guys sometime. I am just trying to stay busy and keep out of the ditches! It seems that since they have been pushing the "no rolling restarts" it is just getting harder to get the miles I was used to getting. That or having a load that needs to be there 3 hours ago, or worse, 3 days from now. Oh-well, that's truckin'!

 

guys lets keep this forum an informational forum like it used to be, so the potential drivers can come and actually get information instead of constant whining about every little thing. most of yall have plenty years experience in trucking and know the ups and downs of it all. this is nothing new ok, there will also be ups and downs, things you love and things that you dont. you gotta look at things overall in the big picture.

 

WOW! I agree! Too much negative talk when there is loads of good stuff to be talking about. Btw... kudos to me... I got a Level 1 - Full DOT Inspection today and passed with NO violations! I was a lil nervous a few times. But all went well. How much $$ for a clean DOT inspection?? LOL
