Schneider buys cowan systems

So now they have ltl carriers in the NE, SE, and Midwest. I wonder what the plan is to start stitching them together?

 

Cowan said he was glad to sEll this 100yr old company and move on to the next chapter and to someone with the same values as cowan . LoL ! Honest answer would've been ,'' #### , they offered 390 million , im out .

Anyone ever work for a small to mid-sized carrier that got bought out by a mega? Did things go to sh immediately or did it take a while?

I worked for Highway express(I think that was the name of it) And was purchased by Celadon back about 23 years ago....it worked out pretty good actually. But, I only drove there for like 6 months, then I purchased my own truck.

 

or M. Bruenger being sold to Road Runner, then folded into A&A then closed all together because RR doesn’t know how to run a company.

 

The morons at Schneider will run it into the ground.
