So far so good, The holiday in is nice and accommodating. Who can complain about free breakfest. The First two days have been decent in pace and we all look forward to grinding some gears tomorrow. Just wanted to thank everyone that posts on these forum. It helped me make an informed decision. Hopefully this is a job and a lifestyle I will grow to enjoy. Look forward to seeing you all out there.

How does the training work for Millis? You went through the school right? then out for 3 weeks?
then out how many more?
I've narrowed it down to Millis and Roehl. Both run through my area pretty well. Millis is a little cheaper and the training pay is a little better. Both are more then what I make now. I got a call from Roehl saying I'm ready to get booked into the system. I'm waiting to hear back from Millis tomorrow. Talked to the recuiter today, they said I should know by tomorrow. It is getting exciting here! -
I agree with you totally, there is definitely allot more involved with driving a truck than what I thought. I do feel though that with time allot of that overbearingness will subside and things will become more routine and manageable. Greg trainer here in Cartersville seems on point and knowledgeable. I'll continue to absorb his wisdom over the next two weeks. We will see what happens tomorrow though. It will be our first day outside of the Carterville 500. Hopefully we take one of the old frieghtliners, Don't want to grind to many gears in the new Kenworth. Thanks for the feed back and ill keep ya posted.
