Eh, they weren't THAT good. They were a step above T/A's Country Prides, though. A few 76's had good restaurants, but then Unocal never had corporate restaurants. The early Flying J's ALWAYS had good restaurants....northstarfire0693 Thanks this.

Route 66 casino on i-40 in NM has a buffet from Thursday to Sunday
JC1971 Thanks this. -
Buffets were and aren't the way to eat your dinner or breakfast. Way too much food and calories. Just adds unwanted pounds and it's hard to move around and digest after a huge meal like that. The idea of a good sit down restaurant with a good menu choice along with some conversation with fellow drivers was always the way to go.
mustang190, northstarfire0693, ‘Olhand and 1 other person Thank this. -
I'd order the buffet because sometimes you didnt have time to wait on a meal. Just do one pass though.northstarfire0693 and navypoppop Thank this.

I always liked a buffet…as long as they are kept Fresh&Clean

The words Truck Stop and Buffet don't belong together.

Out West seems they had Denny's I guess its taste, but I think Black Bear is miles above Denny's, all opinion though.wulfman75 Thanks this.

I thjink your correct, Coffe Shop would be more appropriate. Way better than the current fast food there now.
