There are kits or were kits that would allow an interface to the ECM and added sensors to be ELD compliant. I do not remember who makes it but I had a few in the past.

Kinda defeats the purpose of a glider kit doesn't it?

Why are you using a ELD? They are exempt

Why did you buy a glider? Everyone knows that when you buy one it's so you ate not required to run a ELD

Not everyone feels the same way. I built my glider in 2015 when owner ops at my carrier still used paper logs. I built the glider because I wanted the reliability that came with a 1996 Series 60 pre-emissions motor, not because of an ELD. Not all of us with a glider need or want to run paper. If I didn’t like the ELD, I would still put up with my carrier requiring an ELD versus getting my own authority and being able to run paper logs again. All the other carriers I would want to lease to in my industry require an ELD and I am fine with that.
