Hey @Big Road Skateboard — we’re doing our Thanksgiving feast today cause I chose to be hunting tramp since Wednesday— elk back strap is on the menu

Tomorrow will be Sunday Thanksgiving. This is where we all bring dishes of left overs and get to try different families Thanksgiving favorites.
We have Cajun's, Scott's, German's, Italian's and Irish folks for the major mixture of people in our church home and several tribes of American Indians that are also part of our church home.
Needless to say, this Thanksgiving is a learning opportunity with some excellent food. Dishes I have never had, I now get a chance to try and get the history behind the dish. The Irish folk bring a spinach/hollandaise sauce with gator that is some of the best tasting gator I have ever had. (I don't normally like gator, but this dish is good stuff.)
It also gives everyone a chance to firmly reconnect before the holidays take off in a major way.
Good food found here!singlescrewshaker, sawmill, Sons Hero and 12 others Thank this. -
I'm sure that was delicious! Here I sit thawing out some roadkill from a few weeks back for tonight snack. Any luck hunting?
Think I finished my last deer hunt yesterday. I've hit it pretty hard, and took a couple bucks, but I wanted a couple does to last through summer anyway.
I keep seeing bucks, and no does. Crazy year. Small game and coyote time now.
We did Thanksgiving at church Thursday like normal. Good times and great food. Got to spend some good time with Wrench there, and later they swung by the house on the way home.
@TX2Day, love trying a good variety. That sounds like fun.

Like this thing?
My father drove an ‘81 GMC for years with a crane just like this on it doing electrical sign work. They kept the crane when they retired the truck, and swapped the crane over to his new truck that he hated.
He preferred his 427 gas and two-speed rear to that 6-speed Ford diesel.
