I'm starting to think he must of said something or 2 to the officer as well . The way this thread is going... lol
I try to give him the benefit of the doubt because adot troopers like to harass drivers all the time... but I think there is more to this story
Help with violations. “OPERATE VEHICLE WHILE TEXTING"

like I said to the other dude, rack your Brains all you want, nothing else happened.
and I totally forgot saying something to an officer constitutes a crime or something right?bryan21384 Thanks this. -
No it's not a crime to excersize your first amendment right, but I have found it never really helps you when dealing with the bears...
Sometimes they like to write you up for every little thing if you have a bad attitude..
I got frustrated with a montana dot one time because he was being a major ego tard and I was already having a hell of a day and decided right then and there he was going to be my verbal punching bag
upon inspection he magically found a chaffed air line on my trailer that didn't exist before that inspection, if u catch my drift.
then wrote me up for not carrying backup paper log books and not carrying the instruction manual for my eld...
Now maybe it is not the case, but I believe if I didn't talk #### to the guy he might very well just told me make sure to get some paper logs and a instruction manual. Have a nice day here's your clean inspection . And I only say that because I have been given breaks like that before
that's the last time I ever opened my mouth to those guys and I haven't failed an inspection since and I've had about a couple dozen since then... loltscottme, REO6205, Numb and 1 other person Thank this. -
Some of us here have been in this for a lot of years, have a lot of drivers & O/O's. We know there are two sides to the story, and both claim their right.

Arizona cops could be real ###'wipes. Especially between I 17 Flagstaff and Messa Verde.
Once, I got an 8 hour OOS at McDonald's there because the scu'mbag let himself in my cabin and found a receipt that did not match up my log book. Who wasn't tweaking logbooks back in 2001?
He was also writing me up for not signing the log book with my full name. I used my first name initial and then my full last name. That's how I sign all legal documents and I kept signing that way after despite his b.s.
You all watched Convoy...did the action not start in Arizona? Sure thing, that famous line "I hate truck drivers" was spoken by Arizona State Trooper.D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
I doubt he said anything to the officers, he definitely clapped back to the members here though. Lol. You know how some of them can talk down to folks like they aren't grown men. Some members really think they're someone's daddy lol and they know who they are.D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

What he said confirms to how those AZ highway patrol cops are.mrbhatti, D.Tibbitt and bryan21384 Thank this.

The proof is in the pudding. The driver did wrong right beside a cop, got ticketed, wants to blame the system. There are airplanes departing for better systems every day.

Awww, I wanted to hear about Uvalde…
Was at a pub and had a conversation with a guy whose 13 yr old daughter warned the principal that some kids were planning to shoot up the school. Shooting was averted. I asked this guy about his plan with his daughter in case of a school shooting. He tells me that the school conducts drills and they have these hidey hole places…etc. I ask him if that sounds smart to him, and he had this blank look on his face, where he mentally couldn’t process my question. NPC brain. Of course, Uvalde is mentioned. Cops are mentioned. Teachers are mentioned. What about the parents? Whose primary responsibility is the child’s safety?
“But Six, there’s only so much a parent can do…”
There is a McDonald’s right across the street from the school. If there’s a shooter in the school, would you rather your kid hide in the school or go to McDonald’s? Which is safer during a school shooting, hiding in the coat room or going to McDonald’s?
“But Six, the doors get locked…”
Emergency exits. They shouldn’t prevent anyone from exiting the building. If they do, you can own the school and half the county.
“But Six, the teacher tells the kids where to hide…”
Blame the teacher. Gotcha.
Anyway, you guys with kids, take the time to develop a custom plan for your kids’ safety.
Six back quiet. -
I thought it was ironic that the OP brought that up.
Uvalde failed to do their job.
The OP failed to do their job.TripleSix, tscottme and Old_n_gray Thank this.
