They have begun to enforce the issue for some reason. They never did in the past, and I hope it's a passing fad someone is going through! But that is the law.....

Well howdy folks been awhile since I decided to post cause I hate typing....

    Any how

    1. I am a big guy myself say 279 lbs and I work here (almost 1 year)

    2. I see a bunch of negative stuff lately here and I don't know what to make of it.I can't even relate because I am not having the same problems.

    3. I had a negative attitude towards the shop mainly because of what I read here.I have to say that my recent experience was extremely positive.I thought I had one problem that would have been worth more labor money to the shop ...However what I thought was wrong and what was wrong had a dramatic difference in price.Cheaper and less time down.

4.I still get pretty good miles average 3400 per week

5.Arizona,New Mexico, and California are doing some sort of "Hammer Down" deal and they are pulling trucks over at random and doing at least a level 3 inspection on you.I passed.

6.I 40 in Arizona is shut down due to a dust storm and High winds ATM.

    7.Its snowing west of Flagstaff

    That is all

When I say I am a big guy I am talking 5'11" and 405 lbs. I still say that is the reason because I have 2 witnesses who say I never did what he said I did who are willing to testify to that. I passed my physical like I always do.

Thanks 66 Olznut. We did go by there... at some point twice in the past 24 hours, but probably not when you were there and had to get to our drop.

Panhandle and HerkyBoy... thanks for your posts. I hope we get back to some good posts... I know we will. It's been a rough week and I like to hear good things from you guys as well as vents. Herky... yup... definitely want to meet up.:biggrin_25519: That goes for everyone... even Alan. JK, Alan... "I love you most of all".... Oops I'm not in Kansas anymore!:biggrin_25521:

Kudos to Haystak... way to go on the inspection!:biggrin_25519: Good to hear from you also!

Vulcan... my fourth grade teacher once said to me that I had more problems than Carter has Little Liver Pills. I think I'll pass that one on to you... LOL. :yes2557: Seriously... loved the "if you survived..." post and looking forward to meeting up with you.

fr8tshkr... I am sooo happy to hear that you are getting on much better with your new DM... and you're smiling more!:biggrin_25519: Hooray on your home time too! No one is booting you anywhere... hmmm... I'm a stoppin' right there.

thedizz... good to hear from you guy! Hey we're in CA and it is suppose to snow here also.

OK... I am sure I have missed someone, but I tried to catch up on all the posts as best as possible. We're in CA finally finished our load and took some time off to catch up on things like laundry, showers, PM, and oh ya... SLEEP! We're at a Flying J on I-5 north of .... dang... I don't even know, it's a big one with a hotel attached. Did I say it was a ruff week? I don't know how you boys do the miles you do... oh yeah... you're a lot younger!:biggrin_25519:

We are doing good... most of the weeks we average 3200-3400... this one was a whopping 5025... 3 loads with the last load having 3 drops. The truck is running good... got it in the shop now for a PM. We also haven't had most any of the issues that some are having. I don't think we are doing anything much different. We just get our loads and run, rarely call our DM or anyone else. I tend to stay on top on some things for Randy like home time arrangements, etc. Inform him of the latest on the forum, etc.

Oh... what about Excelguy... I looked at his profile yesterday and he had posted in over a month?

    fr8tshkr Thanks this.

Sounds like you're in Frazier Park which is just north of my place, where it's going to if not snowing right now. 3000' snow level and Frazier Park is at 4300'.

That motel is actually very nice there. After a long day of 4x4'ing in the hills around there in a truck tackling Jeep trails, we needed a break. Here's me making one of the several interesting 5+ point turns I made up there in 2002 Note frame and suspension flex, gap from lights to bumper, bed to cab, etc[IMG]

OK. I'm no longer MIA. I've been doing my living on FB when I can and that's been it. I stopped to grab some food here in Willcox (rolling through) and saw a post on FB that caught my eye. I decided I better check up on here to see what I've missed. I'm running good miles, but I've been getting totally LEGAL miles. I'm headed for Winchester, VA and deliver Monday morning. I've decided to take a slight detour in my route and swing through South Carolina. It's 100 miles out of the way, but the load has enough time on it that I'm going to see some friends there Saturday evening into Sunday morning. I still have no complaints. I love working at JCT and think it's the best trucking company for what they do. I try to tell everyone that ALL trucking companies suck, and JCT is no different in that basic fact. I just think JCT does better than most. I'm happy and they would probably have to fire me to get rid of me. (and if anyone in the office reads that, PLEASE don't take that as encouragement!! LOL) Now that I've wasted nearly two hours reading and replying to messages, I'm going to head on west. I'm hoping to be in Las Cruces tonight. We'll see. I may feel like continuing on, or I may stop sooner.
