Letter from Millis

hey spanky, will be picked up monday or tuesday, i'm thinking tuesday. the ol boy called me tuesday and said he was going to take a few days off and would crank it back up the following monday or tuesday..

 

hey spanky, im trying to catch up with you i would like to meet you and ask you some questions and stuff i know somebody that has ur phone number is it ok that i have it given that i dont know ur trk # and u dont know mine im not sure if i will ever beable to figure out who u are well im in Randolph,MA and it looks like i might be sitting here all day tomorow ran out of hours i been running my ### off this last few weeks my god i went to eden yesterday night and hit ready and usally sit there till verne gets in on monday but nope they give me this run to mass lol well this is the best week i have had ever since i have started with millis and i hope it keeps up i like these pay checks im getting now $$$$$ lol going home next weekend have not figured out how to make money yet when i go home lol but i enjoy spending time with my wife sarah you take care spanky and have a great week ok ttyl

 

im in the dock now waiting to get unloaded but in no rush need a restart man i hate this it is pouring down rain i wanted to take this day and clean my mirors and windows really good somebody told me it would help my trk go faster im not sure about that tho lol cant wait for the weekend

 

just got back from doing a 3wk tour of duty with my trainer. i read on here from alot of people that trucking is tough, now i believe them. this is the most challenging thing i have ever done, bvut the rewards are there if you are willing to work. we turned alot of miles and have seen alot of places. we turned about 11000 miles in a little less than 3wks. to anyone that is THINKING about trucking as a career, THINK even longer...

 

hows the trasining at mti planning on going in June and would like any input much appreciated.

 

Thats when I want to go too. I just am waiting to hear back from them to get things going!

Go for it. I thought the whole program was great. My trainers knew what they were doing and got me on the road with the knowledge and skills I needed...and I've seen other trucking companies where that is obviously not true. I love my T2000 and the shop has been awesome in keeping me rolling. Dry vans, no lumping. It has all been cake. Prepass on most of the weigh stations. I haven't had a lot of sitting around waiting for freight time. I have nothing to compare with but I can say that Millis has been just as advertised and I am proud to drive for them.
