Loves truck stops…. Bad company need to go out of business

I don’t prefer the big chain truck stops, but of the major ones, Loves seems to be best overall. Shower wait times generally coincides with when you try and shower. At a busy large loves and want to shower at 6-7pm? You’re gonna wait. Get up at 3am and go to shower, you’ll walk right in. Common sense, OP. Most all the chain stops are like this

 

Well, kudos for putting the shower on your to do list for the day. The alternative would be smelling like a goat for the day.

 

I can speculate as to why that is:

1. Truck Stops main bread and butter is their fuel sales: These sales take care of all overhead and turn a profit by themselves.
2. All other services/sales are just to add to the profit.
3. I think the main reason you had to wait so long is simple greed: If Loves executives paid the store associates a higher wage, you would see more excellence in the stores; This would also make it easier to have enough store associates to keep things running smoothly.

 

Ya know what, I thought you were just another crybaby trucker. That being said the showers are already not working at the loves in Wichita that opened a few months ago. So I’m back on your side.

I still think he's a crybaby trucker lol. All he had to do was drive another 50 to 100 miles to the next location. It seems like that's the blueprint.

 

Dang....that's worse than distracted driving. That's driving tired as hell lol.......I did see a dude with inflatable hooters at the location in Lake, MS. I sympathize with your experience lol

You are so far off on 1. Fuel sales are minimal profit for truck stops, Pennie’s per gallon are generated on fuel sales. Do a little research.
