Well I have yet to bring in a dirty trailer to P&G, and even if it was a little dirty I carry a Push Broom I bought at Wally-world for 7 dollars. As for sliding tandems, 90% of S&R's require that so why even complain?
We all have different experiences with S&R's but that reason there should not make you believe they suck. It ain't like they keep you there for hours with a brillo pad and cleaner scrubbing the floors of the trailer. Just a quick brush across the floor, and heck we all could use a little exercise right?

I realize that some trailers are hard to slide, but if you don't want to slide tandems then go pull a fixed spread axle trailer. Yes it makes sense for every driver to have a broom. If you don't like sweeping trailers then go do something else besides driving a truck.Rattlebunny and The Challenger Thank this.

I'll even ask at places that don't mention sliding the tandems back if the want them slid back.

I never minded P&G in Lima, but it is only 25 miles from the house & I know several of the guards that work there, so if my load wasn't ready I'd just go home & they would call me when it was done.

I just delivered a load to Atlanta Bonded Warehouse in Kennesaw, GA. I pulled in at about 05:15 for my 06:00 appointment. This place rocks! Super quick and painless... I was outta there before 6am and on my way to my next load.

Yep but unless they've paved that drop lot, it can get to be a mess in the winter or when it rains.

I was there this past wends. Had a drop hook. From shipper office #3. He stated that it was not going to be loaded till 800am I finally got out of there at 1241. NO preload that was suppost to happen and he did not even start the loading till 900am.
No every time that I go in there, its a problem of one sort or another.
The place and the room is Great!! Just some of their ppl need to work it out better. -
I have had good and not so good exp. with wm d/c's but over all they do a fine job. never more than two hours. Detention pay is not in their thought process. lol.

Costco sure has improved their procedure. Anyone else remember the days of everyone sitting in their little "driver room" while unloading??
Now it's waaay better with the pagers, etc. No lumper hassels, no pallet hassels. I have a cat that will play with the pager lights when it goes off, too.JimBob24 Thanks this. -
My vote for best receiver is "Core Mark" in Denver, Colorado. Efficient, quick and let you get unloading regardless of appointment time if they have gates available.
