The engine should run on one or the other. Unplug one and it dies you know the other is bad

Ok so the day has finally come. I have figured out what was causing the lack of power in my 2103 EPA10 Paccar. It was the fuel pressure control valve. Not just the insert that goes in the block, but the whole block itself. I did change the insert early on in the process and it did not fix the problem. I had good fuel pressure readings so never thought to change it. In fact I had acquired an extra one when I bought some used unit pumps to put in to correct the issue. But it was the whole fuel pressure control valve that fixed it. I ran it today and it runs great. I hope this might help someone else someday. June 12th will make 5 years I've owned this truck and have been looking for a solution all this time. It is a backup truck so its not used daily so I spent money on it when I had some extra.
QUALITYTRUCK Thanks this.
