I happened across this place the other day and was really impressed. The wife and I stopped there for lunch. The food was very good. We were amazed at the size of the items in the bakery. The donuts, and cinnamon rolls were huge! My wife got a caramel apple that I swear was bigger then a grapefruit. I can't wait to get that way again!

 

You folks ought to try a sandwich from their sandwich bar . They are FANTASTIC.

 

I grew up in St. Cloud. When you talk about the truck stop there, people think of the Clearwater Travel Plaza ten miles away, not that pos Pilot.

I had Ale-Battered Shrimp the time I went to Nelson Brothers and it was awesome.

 

that place rocks. so does the t/a in albert lea, mn. that is the ONLY t/a that is worth mentioning.

 

Iowa 80 and Kenly 95 are T/A's. Supposedly.

 

i think i've maybe been to this one---or was it albert lea?


Anyways, i think most minnesota establishments are going to be good and of high quality because i think that's just the way minnesotans are---real anal and just decent people. People who actually give a dam.

 

I don't like bumping old threads usually.

If you like Bread they got a lot of Choices. And some really good Sandwiches also.
