    .24 cpm is training pay and she gets paid for all miles the truck runs. She gets paid 24 cpm for all the miles she runs and all the miles her trainer runs.

    I remember when I started in the pipe trades. I caught a break. First day they put me right to work running no-hub for vents.

    Here’s the kicker though. It was on the same jobsite where I just quit the drywall crew. :biggrin_25523:

    Hey guys, thanks for the info. Swifts offering me 50 CPM on a regional account out of Greer. Waiting for it in writing. Their equipment seems solid. I’m sure I’ll deal with some mega carrier issues but the plan is to survive 6 months and look elsewhere.

    The ones in my area won’t take me without any experience. I’m a few months shy of 1 year.

    Great! Glad you found something. Just learn, take your time and do your best. My best advice is never, ever rush yourself. It is never worth it and causes problems.
