Maybe I will see you there I am in the process with Roxy just faxed over some things she needed. I am really hoping to get in the May 3rd class. I think after the 30 days training with W/S there will be no issues going solo, if there was I don't think they would do it that way. I have enjoyed ready all the post especially the ones from Lynch and Warp about their 30 days.

yes Fooman, they have started up the 30 day school... starts May 2nd..
the cost is $4,000 up front... they provide transportation and lodging while going through the 30-day..
if you choose to fly out to montana they will pay up to the cost of a bus ticket, and its up to you to pay for the rest of the plane ticket...
they have a full kicthen showers rooms and 24 hour access to the yard to practice on the training trucks shifting, backing, and so on...
they are NOTfinancing the program.. i do believe the cost has come down.. i think it was over $4,000 not to long ago... but its down to $4,000 again up front... they have 2 company cars that are for use for students only... food is up to you..watkins does not provide food while in training...
anyone that lives in MT, ID or WA, MUST have a passport and MUST be able to go into Canada.. anyone looking for excellent training shouldnd pass this up... you can read Warps thread on his 30 day experience and can ask any questions about the 30 day program either here on this tread or over here on Warps thread..http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...kins-shepard-30-day-training-experienced.html
or over here on Lynchmobs
thread 30day..http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...re/92476-watkins-shepard-30-day-training.html
i think this would be a great chance for anyone who is looking into watkins and needs training...
starting pay is .27 and will go up to .28 after 90 days..
no Haz-Mat is required cause as of 4-20-10 watkins no longer pulls Haz-Mat loads... not that we pulled much before.. but no longer do..
i was going to mention something els about this and i just cant seem to remember what it was at the moment... if i remember then i will post whatever it was...Fooman Thanks this. -
What's going to happen to all those fireworks loads???? What caused them to stop doing HM?
-
im guessing thats what the problem was... it was only fireworks.. they said with the cost of all the permints, the risk, blah blah it wasnt worth it to keep all the permits...
