Glad you brought that up. I have been mulling how to offer him a sort of safety post ref "open flame"
clauses in the typical homeowners policy. Just was concerned he might get on his high keys concerning advice from one who does not have a shop, beer cold storage and a genuine wood heater for validation.
I mean it ain't like i've once blew the fuzz off an old reefer trailer load of fuzzy sacked spuds, using a room heater bolted to a 4 square foot tin base but had the 15 foot of hose to separate.

 

His shop is just airy enough to be safe!
