A little off the topic here, but which states are best to live in for the most available LTL / Cryo jobs? I am looking at getting into trucking sometime soon and will be relocating from overseas with no dependents, so I am free to go wherever.

The areas around the most populated cities will have the most jobs, but they’ll also have a lot of competition for those jobs. I think Salt Lake City and Denver are the best places to go because no sane person likes winter driving in the mountains. Might be less jobs, but there’s probably more openings.

 

Live in a state with no state income taxes and has cryro companies so you can keep more of your paycheck.
I think this on is cryro: Las Vegas. Las Vegas/Henderson also has all the well known LTL companies.

It’s apples vs oranges LTL and Cryo are completely opposites in trucking. Get your experience first and foremost as no private cryo fleet will hire a driver without experience.
