It is a nationwide trend, or used to be. 1 inch snow in MS was a tragedy, and had to be explored.

I think I posted years ago of coming out of E. St Louis; down 3 to Cairo, over thru Sikeston to Memphis on 61.
Freezing rain drizzle (none of this mud flap junk on tractor) all the way down and chunks of spray building up on landing gear.
Like 14 inch middle busters, come off the old Mph/Ark bridge to Crump Blvd. Rough RR tracks there would bounce the whole rig.
Like throwing great big ice cubes across a pool table. Amazing what an old mind cherishes of past days.... Simple pleasures.

Just think of a comparative risk ??. Say an 8 inch corncob cleanout vs 60 inches of .5 inch greased black pvc.
Also the cost of a increased risk malpractice rider on his insurance.
