First truck I drove was an L8000 single axle. Spring ride, no air suspension anywhere. At 18 years old I could handle it. But to do that now? Not a chance. But it had the big 3 spoke steering wheel, and me being 5'6" with really short arms made it a chore at times. And I'm sure was a sight to be seen.

I remember getting DOT'd the first time in that thing. The cop walked up and started laughing. Then asked me if I even had a driver's license. I produced it and he chuckled a bit. Said I looked like a 14 year old sitting in that thing.

I'm going to get him credit because at least he isn't rocking the Edgar or the broccoli top.

Or the lack of a suicide knob.

The "T" in "T-Bar" stands for "torture". Trucks without air brakes had those. It was better than nothing, I suppose. I always liked to see my trailer tires, and with no air in the chair, you can't see them.

Nobody on here has ever custom shimmed their seat.?
Add shims at different bolt points in the base, slider, or cushion itself? Custom change angles and fine tune all the non adjustable one size or position fits all seats. May need one side of bottom cushion to sit higher than the other for hip alignment or a shorter leg or betting posture.

Drive up and down I-95 from New England to Richmond, and you'll rethink that choice pretty quick! First big chuckhole on the Cross Bronx will drive your ### straight into the floor...

Lease road potholes will do that and then slam your head into the ceiling. And if you're lucky it'll only do it once.
