Hey me too, it was an eastbound vehicle coming at me when i was westbound on i-90 in montana at night.
i just slowed down to 25 mph and let him do what he wanted to do. only one lane was open. what he did was kind of scary, he was going FAST and waited until the last moment and ripped the steering wheel to the right and hit the median. I kind of wonder if he had the common sense to just keep it ripped over and go to the other side of the highway where he belongs!
Scariest Moment

I saw a wrong way driver on 1-15 the other day near Saint George. An old man on a small motorcycle, traveling S/B in the breakdown lane of N/B traffic.
Yep, they are among us. . . -
I had a big truck cross onto my side coming thru New Mexico on I-40 between Gallup and Albuquerque. Dude waited til he crossed a bridge then crossed back over to the westbound side.
Word on the CB was a 4-wheeler came over on him. He saw the eastbound was clear and the median was pretty level, so he used that as his escape route. I was probably a quarter mile away doing almost 80 (75mph limit and I was in an ungoverned truck) when he crossed back over. -
Either that or thats the stupidest move i've ever heard of. Why would you commit a crime to protect someone who is committing a crime? (driving on the wrong side of the road...even making a jughandle turn... is an arrestable offense in cali) -
To save lives, . You mean you'd have killed the whole carload where the driver probably was having medical problems or something? I think you need to take a DDC class.

Believe me, I was chewing the guy out for being on the wrong side of the road. Several drivers came to his defense and said he saved that stupid 4-wheeler's life. -
Running 65 m.p.h. on black ice with a 16'wide x 80' long load (105' long including truck). Didn't realize I was on black ice until car in front of me decided to turn left, had that truck and trailer all over the road and was lucky enough to miss everything and get it slowed down to a safer speed. My pants were still clean, but I don't know how!

watched from a 4 wheeler as another 4 wheeler ran smack into the side of a trailer going NB on I79 just South of Erie in what we refer to as the snowbelt... Somehoe I made it through untouched... then parked a mile away and went back to help. As I walked back I got to see another 4 wheeler come over the hill and smack into the poor woman again. I had to women sitting in my car keeping warm as the snow came down relentlessy! What a scare!

Couple of things
white out conditions on I-80 from Elk Mtn. to Laramie
Lost brakes going down Vail at 82,500 lbs, jakes were worthless on the truck. Barely, and I mean barely got it stopped at the mid point. -
The one lot lizard that stumbled up to my truck that had a face that looked like 100 miles of death valley back road's, a stinch that would put a skunk into a coma and a mini skirt that look's like it was feed through a combine before she put it on, not to mention enough track mark's running up her arm's that could have built the Talledega speed way three time's over.
