So what happens if I have been unemployed for the last 18 months but was unable to legally work here but also unable to leave to work at home, due to undergoing change of status? My guess is that it wont matter and will still read unemployed and unacceptable, would love for someone to tell me different though![]()

Come to think of it I spoke with Mcelroy again they were my first choice because home weekends I can deal with that BUT now they are not hiring Virginia. I brought them up because the gentleman on the phone told me that they want 10 (TEN) years employment history. This compounds things for a lot of folk because dates need to match when they use verification or that is a red flag so your memory better be perfect on this one!
Another funny thing is two of the five companies I sub contracted for in the past couple years are no longer in business! Cable install companies come and go! I can put their numbers down on applications but it will just say non-working number, that looks bad. I am sure you will find something if you keep looking and don't give up until you hit a company that just cleaned house and need drivers real bad! Good luck

Do you even have any idea what you are saying? Tax forms and work evaluation all in one...annual income won't give anyone a clue as to work record...except the ones that have almost none or none!ironhand Thanks this.

thanks everyone for the input ,,,
ironhand Thanks this. -
Here, since you obviously need this spoon fed to you,
They will find every place you worked via tax records (at least the legit places)that you could have otherwise left off the application.
Why would you leave it off the application? Perhaps you left a place on very bad terms and screwed the company.
You understand now?
It is a lot harder to hide a "bad" reference if they get a peek at your tax forms.
Next time, why not just try saying, "I don't get what you mean here. Explain yourself" Instead of being nasty about it.
Thanks
