    just today i was on the highway and saw about 15 trucks and on channel 19 it was dead silent.
    when did the popularity and respect of cb radio go away
    i want to bring back the good ol days of cb radio so the younger generation like me can have the same experience like it was back in the day

    Do you have your squelch all the way up? That will block out most, if not all drivers. Unless they're real close.

    Try keying up and seeing if anyone responds.

    Then again not all truck drivers use their radios all the time/anymore but you should be able to pick someone up.

    i did check my squelch and did key up and no response from anyone i would like to bring back the popularity of cb radio but i might also get a ham just so i can hear people over the airwaves

    is there any of you out there that will be at the WAUPUN TRUCK-N-SHOW this year? i belive I will be there if we are not going to south carolina that week

    im really trying hard to get my friends to get cb's most wont get there liscense till this summer so im still waiting. im going up into northern door county this weekend do any of you live up there or are going to be heading up there?

    i found a new problem that could have been a problem in hearing people is my coax cable now has been shortening out and i cant find out how to replace it by taking the original coax cable off how do you do it
