    It’s the boy’s problem to fix though, and he can fix it easily if he really wants to, at least in my eyes.

    Simply getting a job and holding it for a year without missing any time would go a long way.

    I agree completely. The guy is 23 years old with a felony conviction for evading.

    (As a side note, the dad said this conviction is from when his son was 18/19 and he still has to regularly report to his probation/parole officer. That sounds to me like it was less of a Dukes of Hazard situation and more LAPD with police helicopters and everything else. Who knows what the guy was leaving out)

    Setting that aside, the son just needs to get a job and hold it for now. He can think about a career after the justice system gets done with him and he grows a little more hair on his chin. No reputable trucking company is going to hire a 23 year old who committed a felony in a vehicle anyway.
