volvo D13 oil separator has oil coming out from pipe

hey I got the same code, what ended up being the issue?

 

Had the code come up over a Month ago and changed the Crank Case Pressure Sensor. Now after a month, the code is back. Any ideas?

 

How often is recommended to change the oil separator filter?

 

You have another post about a DD13 . Do you have a D13 or DD13. They aren't the same.

 

So do u block oil from going to the crankcase and just use the hole in the valve cover to push down a hose for the breater?

 

Id just get a new oil separator it is worth the money, I had the same issue started losing a lot of oil. Replaced it and I'm back to not adding a drop of oil between changes. truck is at 750k and 29k hrs with no blowby.

You can verify by having the truck warmed up to temp and then take the oil fill cap off while idling. I'd bet you have little to no blow by, and it is the separator is broke and not spinning (its a centrifuge powered by engine oil pressure).

 

I replaced the oil separator twice already i dont have any blow by or smoke coming out the exhaust it's driving me crazy

 

Ah okay yeah I would definitely be frustrated.
