Hey all, I have a dual antenna setup on my truck and the antennnas have there cables coming in from the side mirror assembly and they have what looks like FM antenna connectors instead of the usual CB radio standard the twist on single. Can anyone tell me what the technical names are for these and if there are an adaptor I can get to get my little cheap Cobra up and running? Thanks.

It sounds like you may have a Motorola plug on it. I once had a Freightliner that had a Motorola plug on the factory installed coax. If it is you can buy adapters for it.

Check your local Radio Shack for the adapters.

Dont ever use the factory co-ax unless it's a brand new truck. Every truck i've ever driven, even one that was 3 months old when i picked it up, has had screwed up co-ax. It's better to just use your own high quality co-ax.
