Well I don't see enough crossmembers. It could be because the photo. Doesn't appear to have a coil package. Plus it needs tires, paint. That's maybe a 6k dollar trailer, maybe.

I appreciate your feedback yea he wants 8 k for it, I’m just gonna wait I found one I really like for 12k it’s a07 Fontaine extreme beam with coil package is really good shape I might just have to bite the bullet and buy that one and stop trying to find one for 10k or under rather just buy it right once. I’m hauling a 95 ravens and love it just wished it was 102 and not 96 but it’s also not my trailer I rent it

I'm still pulling a 95 Fruehauf steel aluminum combo. Haven't used it in a year. But it had hauled coils and machinery it's entire life. Been broke, rebuilt, painted. Almost bought a new Mac in 19. It needs replaced. But is capable of doing work that alot of new standard trailers will not. 42x96 with a hide kit. Most reliable thing I've ever owned.

If I recall it had about 72k on the deck in this pic. When you take good care of them. They will take care of you.

Well I went and looked at this one today he said he hauled coil and steel with it as well as other freight but don’t really see extra braces up there, the deck was solid and wood had been replaced recently . The outer edges had what looked like a wave going he said he bought it like that 3 years ago any feed back on this one I really like it and the price is pretty good 6k I believed for the condition

it’s a 2000 east aluminum 80,000 gvwr would need tires, all the brakes and lines/ s cams, bushings, bags have been replaced recently he swapped them out for his new trailer he bought IMG_4509.jpeg IMG_4510.jpeg IMG_4511.jpeg IMG_4514.jpeg IMG_4513.jpeg

Did you measure spacing on crossmembers? Looks 16" OC. That trailer is for lumber/drywall. Loads that cover the entire trailer. The "Waves" are the floor being crushed between crossmembers. It definitely is not designed to haul isolated loads.

I remembered you mentioning that and that’s why I was skeptical, he said he’s hauled isolated loads I just thought the “waves” looked off and that’s what threw me off. I let him know I was going to pass, I’m just going to use the trailer the company provides that I’m leasing to that hauls steel and keep saving and get a used one with the appropriate bracing Iv found a few just out of my price range. Wanting to get a used trailer. I found some decent combos that have cool packages in them
