if ya had the time to visit a good metal scrap yard you could buy some steel at scrap prices and make a hoist frame. either buy an electric hoist or mechanical block .

Didn’t you have a 2 post lift or some such at your place? That should work maybe?

You could also make a bed with 2x4? Roll the head over onto it then 2 guys could wrestle it around pretty easy with handles I would think?

I have thought about it. The only problem is I'm home at random tines and only for a 34 reset. That's about it . I think I'm going to try the plywood and cherry picker since I already got one of those at the house

You just gonna clean it up and put a new gasket? Or get wait for the tools to cut the deck this time?

I hate to see this happen to ya for sure….. glad you have the ability to fix er up yourself. It’s amazing the “power” that gives you in making business decisions….

If you ever need anything around Illinois we got tools and a shop your welcome too as long as ya need. We also got a spare room and pickup to use while you’re here.

Any yall welcome anytime ya need.

Not sure about (I'm assuming) an ISX. Ballpark guess of around 500 lbs.

Yeah we got a lift too. My uncle thought it may work to use the arms and lift the head with that. I just don't know how much time I'm going to have to work on it. I don't wanna tie up his equipment and keep him from working on other cars in the meantime.
I guess when I get back on my own I'm gonna have to work my own concrete slab into the budget . Lol
