I have to know…did the perp have anything to say? Obviously, he wasn’t planning to pay for the trailer, so this type of repo should hurt his business pretty badly.CAXPT, FullMetalJacket, singlescrewshaker and 13 others Thank this.

I’ve accumulated quite a few fond memories of this community over the last nearly 20 years. It will be an honor to chalk this up as one of them.
Well done @OLDSKOOLERnWVSons Hero, CAXPT, FullMetalJacket and 20 others Thank this. -
I’d love to lay down but I gotta load in 20 minutes and head to KY just across the border, come back and swap trailers, load a excavator and head to Columbus direction to unload, come back and swap trailers again then run back across the border and load, bring it back and unload the machine and the customers trailer. No rest for the weary lol….Sons Hero, CAXPT, singlescrewshaker and 20 others Thank this. -
All in a days work my friend. I truly try to stick to my roots in trucking, and simply trying to be a good person is just one of the things I try to be, but I’m far from perfect, just ask my wife….
Sons Hero, CAXPT, FullMetalJacket and 23 others Thank this. -
Actually never seen him, probably a good thing one way or another.
I had my hands full on this mission!! Never had so many problems to overcome all at once in my life lol.
I brought 4 T bolts, lo and behold I need 6 since the drop axle had maxis too.
Found a couple on the truck and worked and worked trying to get one out ( not my truck), got 5 T bolts in and so help me Hanna for the life of me I couldn’t get the 6th in on the drop axle. All the air was off the truck so everything was down.
Tried airing up the tanks on the other truck using the glad hands as I usually do, dead end once again! Thankfully the passenger door was unlocked, and after looking I found a quick connect on an air tank. But… how do you put 2 female quick connects together? I carry 2 males screwed together for situations like that so finally got air in the truck, Hooked to my pintle and the pull plate on the front of the other truck, Pete slipped in and shoved the knob in to release the brakes. And there we started rolling till we couldn’t… crap!! Neck came down and king pin caught a small cross member along the top. Pete raised the neck up more but still was hooked on the 3” wide plate. Pete lined me up with that heavy pull plate and I was able to move the truck backwards with my pintle. King pin jumped free and I drug it on out of the way.
Hooked up and we were off to the races. Just glad I put together a short extension for the glad hands since the other neck was flipped down. Took some time and being in a hurry doesn’t always help, but, no blood shed, no black eyes, and nothing tore up, I call that success….Sons Hero, CAXPT, FullMetalJacket and 21 others Thank this. -
And to make things worse, was what appeared to be a night watchman across the lot….
