Holy.....They have really bumped their pay up! I think not even a year ago it was $41 or $42. With my Shift differential, I average $41, but Only OT after 40. We have an 8 hour guarantee, which I've had to use 3 times this week. We are so slow it isnt funny. Too many drivers and not enough equipment when we do have work

Honestly, they probably pay more in Cali. They always did when I was there. I left in December '23 so I couldn't tell you what they pay down there now.

 

I went back to hauling fuel and averaged over $45/hr for the year last year. It's noticeably slower this year than last but we're still busy. Had 67 hours last week but a lot of that was training the FNG.

 

I can’t really complain we have other perks. Like weekend pay at $70 extra per day and nights make like a bit over a $1 more per hour. Also our vacation time is based on gross from previous year so mine is like $72 per vacation hour.
