I hear the BB was good. I remember when the Petro in SA was a Skillet. Back in the early to mid 90's it was popular with the locals as well.

Back when I was OTR, all that stuff was in the future; Denny's were stand-alone restaurants that NEVER had truck parking. The trucking chain restaurants were Country Pride (TA), Iron Skillet (Petro), and Country Market (flying J), as well as Burns' Brothers restaurants in the west. Unocal T/S locations had independent restaurants; some good, some not so good...hotrod1653 and navypoppop Thank this.

Denny’s was alright. I never left one hungry.
Certainly not a 5 star deal, but for what they were they priced right at least.

TA doesn't own Iowa80. They just use TA for the fuel network. It is still owned by the Moon family. The same folks that own CAT Scale.northstarfire0693 and kemosabi49 Thank this.
