In the winter time, I tend to give people a pass on poor tarp jobs

 

I’ll try to reign in my snobbery for the next 6 weeks or so

 

I see alot of guys lately just throwing mesh tarps over angle bar or various metal that can't get wet . I guess it's technically tarped ?? Until it gets wet and you show up with 50ft of rusted out bar... used to be that the flatbed industry kept the lazy ####s away ... all the old hands getting out of this biz and being replaced with incompetence

 

No that doesnt excuse the bad job though

 

Same battle in carhaul. Guys think they're the cat's ### because they're really fast at 1-strapping cars on a couple flat decks. Lazy fools know nothing about loading for weight balance or height. The knowledge base has almost completely evaporated overnight, it seems.
