Hi all. We all know our financial situations are different, Currently I’m so far in debt with credit cards and they’re pretty much maxed out at this point. I have a truck note and I’m leased on with a power only company. I’m running a 2020 KW T680 with MX13. It just turned 600,000 miles and have had a few issues. Right now I feel as if I’m at the end of the road doing this as an OO. Also I’m 3 years behind on my taxes. making payments on 2020. There’s not much money left after all bills are paid. I’m thinking about finding a company that has dedicated freight that actually pays decent. I know rates are crap at the moment but it has to be better than what lm doing now. I worked for this company for 11 months in 2024 and was able to net $140,000. Also I do not spend money on myself or any extra crap that I would love to have. I’m in this truck 2-3 months at a time and racking up the miles. If any of you guys have any advice what I can do I’d love to hear it. Trying to avoid Bankruptcy and don’t want to lose my house. I live in the Fargo ND area.

Yes. My bills are a result of a bad decision back in 2022 I made with my first truck. Engine blew and instead of selling as is I spent 31k to have it rebuilt all because I didn’t want a truck payment. After the rebuild it was constantly going in for repairs and I had to start using credit cards to pay for those repairs. I finally gave in and used that truck as a trade in for the current one. Also as I’ve mentioned I don’t spend money foolishly. I’ve cut things out of my budget and live as cheap as possible. I have car payment, home mortgage, health insurance, insurance for 3 vehicles, CC payments and more.

Not much to sell. Pick up truck is paid for. Dodge Durango my girlfriend drives. Semi truck can’t go. I’m looking into debt consolidation.

Honestly, you got 3 options. 1. Bankrupt out. 2. Debt consolidation. 3. Sell everything you have non vital including your home or ditching your apartment and just plug away until you catch up.

I hate to hear about your situation. I very nearly went down the same road with my last rig so that hits close to home. But its a deep hole with no great solution for you.
