Oh I missed that. Thought you were implying my need for 4door. Took me to 43 to own my first 4 door anything. But I'll admit to liking my honda crv for hauling kid around and getting groceries.
Knew a old woman that had a 4door nova 327 and a 4 speed. She enjoyed her shopping.

Well she is gonna learn the hard way. Just because she requested it, don't mean she is getting that. Ol Dad can't afford to do all that yet.
This winter isn't letting up.

I literally just scooped my coffee out of a metal can. The lid is plastic though. Was there a time the lids were metal as well?cke, singlescrewshaker, CAXPT and 11 others Thank this.

I remember the glass jars for PB.
Last summer I was digging holes for a home improvement project and uncovered an old glass Coke bottle. I'd have to assume it was left by the crew that built the house, which would probably date it to around the late 70s.cke, singlescrewshaker, CAXPT and 9 others Thank this. -
Growing up aunt Winnie always cut the metal lid out of the dog food cans, coffee cans, and things she may buy we didn’t have to eat ourselves. When the can was empty she would cut the other end out and mash the can flat so it took up less space in the garage. All paper was burnt in the barrel out back.
She had a big galvanized tub she would put rain water in to warm in the sun during the day, that was my bath later that evening. Course I was a little guy back then lol. Take a big tub for me now… just ask @blairandgretchen or @Razororange lol.
All the paper grocery bags were folded and saved for starting fires during the winter, or used to put my Xmas gifts in, yes that’s how I got many of my gifts, top folded over and taped shut.
Like most kids there was mornings I didn’t care if I got up or not, uncle Lester had a cure for that too… wooden spring loaded clothes pin on the earlobe, it got your attention!
Like to have $.25 for every chicken I plucked growing up, and to think of how good it was cooked in that cast iron skillet. Good times as I look at the world today lol….
