Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

Same here…..I’d have to move out of state to be proud of my home equity.

 

The only thing that I would NOT want to happen is, having real estate tank….because my daughter just paid almost a half million for a house that was $115k new 25 years ago. Adjusted for inflation, it should only cost half what she paid for it and I don’t want to see her and her husband paying for a dead horse.

 

I’ve lived here my whole life.

Those good days as an OO were great. The bad days were hell.

What part of Montana if u don't mind me asking . I used to run out of Kalispell/marion to big sky everyday hauling landscape boulders from the rock quarries in Marion from 2019 -2021 . Most fun I've ever had trucking

my daughter and SIL just did the same in Goodyear, AZ.

460,000 for a house that woulda sold for 175k just 10yrs ago.

I was sick when I found out the price of that house.

wife and I paid 145k for ours and it is comparable to hers, but ours is about 500sq ft larger, bigger lot and a pool.

comparing apples to oranges I know, but still is just unreal what a few yrs can do to real estate prices

 

I used to haul those exact rocks to Big Sky. I preferred the quarry in Plains.

 

Lol yeah trucking has pretty much sucked since that wreck... feels like it happened yesterday still
some guy ran a stop sign and hit me in August last year.. I'm a bit sketched out at highway intersections now. Just like roads with small lanes and no shoulders with a drop off. Easy to rollover... don't have as much fun out here as i used to but it's still better than working a cash register or trash collecting
