California CARB Clean Truck Check (CTC) certified devices and credentialed testers

Well that may have been true early on I have not found that to be the case. At least not for the past 6 months or so. The smog shop in work at also provides registration and it seems that the dmv is updated usually the next day after the test is completed. Never had to wait for the certificate to come through.

 

I never said you have to wait several days for the certificate. I said that once you hit the key to have your certificate to print from the CLEAN AIR TRUCK site, it will take approximately 7 days to be updated to the DMV system. It happened to me first of the year. That’s there process. The clean truck representative and DMV agent both told me on the phone and it happened just like that said.

 

I think you misread what I wrote. I didn't say anything about the cert. I said my shop also provides registration services and in MY experience the system updates once a day and I can register the vehicle normally after 24 hours after the test is completed. Now as far as the DMVs policies go that's on them however as a registration service the longest after we've preformed the test that it's taken for the DMV system to clear a clean truck hold from thier system is 72 hours.

CA can go suck it with all the laws they think the rest of the country has to go by. CA is the most screwed up state in the union

Not in 7 years, but Im sure its just a screwed up

 

I do a little business in Oregon occasionally but I don't spend any more time up there than I have to. Eugene wants to be Berkeley when it grows up, Bend has surrendered to the yuppies, Medford has turned itself into Fresno and Portland is just unspeakable on several levels.
Besides, the whole state is full of former Californians...and that's never a good sign.

 

Thats sad for Bend. I lived there as a kid. Typical California clowns screwing up the rest of the country

 

Guys, whats a good software? I got my carb certificate, and looking for a good software. I see several options as approved, but NO feedbacm online as to whats good and whats not. They are 1000 dollars, so not something Id like to experiment with.
