Man…y’all are a talkative bunch. So, after speed reading this thread, I think I’m gonna try to get on with a common and get into cryo. Probably GenOx West since I live 12 miles from their corporate headquarters. I would shoot for AP because I live 5 miles from their LaPorte mega plant, but I don’t have reliable transportation right now because me and my partner share 1 vehicle. GenOx for sure has regional and out and back runs. Not to mention I know most cryo companies (*cough*Linde/Praxair*cough*) are pretty tough on job history (Praxair used to be like 1 job in 10 years tough on job history), so that’s out. Plus, I can’t drive manual (legally), so if they have older trucks I’m toast. It’s fine though, I can’t drive run with GenOx West for a while, get my experience up, and then try with AP later I guess.

Plus, if I do that, I can actually give some good info on GenOx. I have seen a lot of people get offers, but it seems nobody really came through and talked about them afterwards.

If something doesn’t seem right, SHUT IT DOWN! The safest place for that product to be is in the tank.Cali kid, Gearjammin' Penguin and viper822004 Thank this. -
Another thing to take into consideration is when you work for Genox or LGT, one day you'll be in Texas and the next you'll be running out of Kansas. You'll go where ever there's work because those guys don't have customers. Typically be out three weeks at a time. -
The other night I had a 4 wheeler following me like a maniac for 20 miles. At times he would turn on his hazards and tailgate me. Then he would act like he was going to pass but then slow down again. I thought maybe he was having engine problems until finally he started flashing his high beams at me and all of a sudden I get lit up by a state trooper.
I immediately knew wtf was going on.
Any guesses??? -
Your trailer was releasing pdt..???

I was pulling a nitrogen trailer but the road relief valve on that trailer is worn out so it vents heavy.
Had to explain to the trooper that everything was normal and showed her the big label in the back that says "venting of this trailer is normal operation"Rugerfan, Gearjammin' Penguin and lual Thank this.
