Well I’ve officially been a OO for 10 years and just turned over 1.7 million after buying my truck with 700k back then. IMG_1594.jpeg It’s been great for the most part and I don’t regret one single second.

I have come in contact with somebody that has local work to share. I bought a van trailer and ran local work from thanksgiving to the middle of January. IMG_0895.jpeg Then went back to my previous customers for a couple months. That appears to be coming to an end in about 30 more days.

I had a feeling my customers were coming to an end back in the middle of last year…..

So I found both of these in an auction and accidentally bought them both…. IMG_0451.png
Then I got this before an auction in a package deal with a forklift and old steel flatbed trailer. IMG_1448.jpeg

    SO……..

This is an 05 120 Columbia with a 12.7 and a 10 speed. Has 699k on it. I bought this truck 12 or 13 years ago at the last company I worked at for there delivery truck. They drove it exactly 100k. I wanted the forklift but the owner wanted me to take this and the flatbed too.

So my buddy @singlescrewshaker let me use his trailer and chauffeur me to Iowa in the middle of a snow storm to help me pickup (ironically enough) a freightliner tandem cut off. IMG_1492.jpeg

Now we’re getting it all striped down and cleaned up ready to put on the oll Columbia to try and have it ready to haul dirt by April 1st. IMG_1517.jpeg IMG_1519.jpeg IMG_1599.jpeg

I’m hoping to get all the fluids and stuff changed too? New fenders, pump and paint the chassis all up.
I’ll keep posting my progress along the way.

Welcome to the end dump world! I enjoy it for the most part. I bought an IL made MTM trailer last year and can't say enough good things about it for what I do. I know they build a lot of 23' for use in your neck of the woods.

Yeah, I have no idea about any of this dirt work? Just getting my feet wet. Figured if I bought cheap stuff I could learn and upgrade later.

I bought one of them when they first came to Mass before I realized how much I hated pulling a bucket, was a good trailer otherwise, shut ton of grease fittings on it
